Bimini Walking Tour
This tour includes all of the important cultural sites in the environs of Alice Town: Ansil's Boat House, the Bimini Craft Centre, Bimini Public Library, Bimini Memorial & Heroes Park. It ends with a visit to The Dolphin House, a popular attraction that has historical artifacts such as old cannon balls, photos of Ernest Hemingway and items from the old Rod & Gun Club. A guided tour can be arranged upon request.
Persons in wheelchairs or those with mobility impairments will need assistance moving around on this tour.
Best Starting Point
It is best to begin your tour at the Bimini Memorial & Heroes Park, which features monuments dedicated to World War I and II veterans and the Chalk's plane crash victims. There is also a section honoring Heroes who made a contribution to the local community.
Length of Walking Tour
Half an hour to an hour, depending on time spent at the sites.
