Birding Tour

Nature-Based Experience
Picture of Bahama Oriole – Bahamas Ministry of Tourism

Andros has over 168 species of birds and attracts birdwatchers from near and far. Participants of this tour will explore environments deep into the forests, as well as creeks and other wetlands.

You will see a variety of endemic birds and water fowl, such as the Bahamas Woodstar Hummingbird, the Bahamas Yellow Throat Warbler, and the Bahamas Swallow. Also, there are many birds that rely on The Bahamas during their annual migration for a well deserved rest and to feed and refuel before moving on. Some use the unspoiled environment as their winter homes. This includes the West Indian Whistling Duck and the White Cheeked Pintail, which are considered endangered, plus the Kirkland Warbler.
