What You Can Do

Camp Symonette, now operated by the Methodist Habitat, is a monument to Sir Roland Symonette, the first Premier of The Bahamas. Throughout the year, the camp hosts more than 600 youths from the United States, who help provide disaster relief and community-building, including home repairs, painting, plumbing and other assistance after storm damage. The camp also honors its past and welcomes Bahamian youth for two weeks of vacation camp each summer, to the delight of the young people in the community.
