Curtis Creek is located in a former farming area, about 4-5 miles from the town of Abraham's Bay. The creek is a natural aquarium for a variety of indigenous fish and a habitat for green turtles. There is an abundance of native flora and fauna in the area, including a number of bird species and a variety of native shrubs, such as the buttonwood tree.
This peaceful, sandy spot is perfect for sunbathing, shelling, picnicking, line fishing and canoeing to neighboring cays. It is renowned for attracting people to its amazing environment for water-based fun at the beach.
Persons with mobility impairments and those in wheelchairs should be careful when moving around on the loose sand.
