Little Whale Cay
This beautiful private island, spreading out over 93 acres, was developed in the 1930s by Wallace Groves as a residence and bird sanctuary. It has become a lush paradise for a great number of birds, many of which can be traced back to Wallace Groves' original bird collection—flamingos, the endangered West Indian whistling duck, Bahama woodstar, hummingbirds, and domestic peacocks.
The island has stunning white-sand beaches and warm turquoise waters; a private airstrip, harbor and flotilla of boats for fishing, cruising or water sports; a compliment of 13 staff; a sea-view infinity pool, tennis court, yoga deck and gym. It is the only island in The Berry Islands offering a spa, which is available to guests only. There are exclusive lodgings for up to 12 guests.
