This area was originally owned by Lord Dunmore and was used for farming many years ago. The cave was where they fed and watered the sheep.
A variety of trees surround the cave, as well as birds, bees, and wasps. Take care to avoid wasp nests and bee hives when entering the cave.
You can drive your vehicle right up to the cave's entrance. The ground is flat, therefore, persons with mobility impairments or those in wheelchairs should be able to get close enough to see into the cave.
