South Abaco Nature Tour
This tour by The Great Abaco Express is one you will never forget! It is very informative, engaging and Eco-friendly. It travels many scenic routes throughout the island, where parrot and other species of birds can be seen. After trekking through the woods, you can cool down by swimming in one of our many blue holes. Several of these blues holes have been explored and documented as rich archaeological finds by the National Geographic organization.
You'll be able to take a stroll on one of our beautiful pristine white sandy beaches, which stretch out miles along the coast. The clean crisp sea air is invigorating as well as the view of our clear turquoise waters.
Another tour offering, the Robinson Crusoe experience, visits one of our notable caves. Nearby is Pete's Gallery and Foundry, and the infamous Pete's Pub where you will have a tiki hut experience. Plus, you can also tour colonial villages, shark and sting ray sites, lighthouses, and museums, plus swim with the pigs, and go snorkeling or bird watching.
Some blue holes are accessible for those with mobility impairments and some are not.
The Great Abaco Express brings hands on awareness to preserving our natural habitat through educational tours.
