Treasure Cay Beach

Beach, Caves, Cayes, and Islands
A small boat sailing on the Treasure Cay Beach. – Rhonda

Treasure Cay Beach is the most sparkling natural feature of the coastal regions on the island of Abaco, and was voted one of the region's top 10 beaches in a reader poll by Caribbean Travel & Life.

Stunning is the word for this 3.5-mile stretch of sugar-soft, powdery white sand, matched only in brilliance by the sparkling diamond and turquoise water colors lapping at its shore. There are no pictures that can prepare a visitor for the awesome sight of this beach; its size, its white powdery sand and those beautiful blue waters. All that, and there are no crowds. There's plenty of room to create your own private oasis.

Accessibility Notes

Persons with mobility impairments or those in wheelchairs should be careful when moving around on the sandy terrain.

Recreational Opportunities

The nautical facility features weekly entertainment, picnic tables, lounge chairs, thatched shades and a water sports cabana for Hobie cat, kayak and banana boat rentals.

About 100 yards from the water's edge sits the Coco Beach Bar & Grill, famous for its Bahamian drink specialties and local grilled favorites.
