This dive site is characterized by being a reef that only begins at about three meters (almost 10 feet) deep. The north end of Turtle Rocks is superficial. At the southern end of the reef, depths range from 9 to 10 meters (about 30-33 feet). There are three areas in this site known as North, Middle, and South Turtle Rocks. It is one of the most popular dive sites in Bimini, recommended for divers of all levels.
Best Access to Dive Spot
You must access this area by small boat and it is best to enter in directly over the dive area. It is seven minutes Southwest of South Bimini at Port Royal.
Best Times to Dive
Please use your discretion and be mindful of the tide and the direction in which the sea current in the channel may be flowing to determine when it is best for diving. The ideal hours are 7:00 a.m. / 9:00 a.m. / 12:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. during the months of:

This area is surrounded by lots of coral reefs and inhabited by a variety of marine life.
